Modern Camping Birthday Party
During the pandemic, we were able to explore nature more around our area as a family and that was also when my son developed his love for nature. So when he was turning six, he wanted to go on a camping trip to celebrate his big day. When a camping trip didn’t work out with his school schedule, I was determined to transform our backyard to a campsite! Today, I’m excited to share this modern camp themed birthday party that Yao and I styled. Oh boy, we had so much fun!
My husband created these wooden panels which worked perfectly as the backdrop for the party. We incorporated balloons in the colors of black, brown, mocha, and eucalyptus and that was also the color hue throughout the party. We added this adorable brown bear foil balloon & the honeycomb acorn decoration, along with this modern multicolor banner, they worked nicely with the theme. Next to the dessert table, we also set up this fun play tent to set the camping scene! KID’S PICNIC TABLE
Not only is kid’s picnic table so in trend now, it also creates such a fun area for the little guests to to hang out! To achieve a modern look and woodsy vibe, we used a buffalo black and white check tablecloth and arranged a floral piece with lots of foliage greenery. We used some vintage camping lamp and these honeycomb tree decorations as the centerpiece for the kid’s table, with the addition of this cute wooden toy RV. Along with camping themed tableware including the bear plates, tree napkins, tin camp mugs and these beautifully designed round plates, we were able to create a modern camping themed tablescape. We absolutely love how it turned out!
Our go-to lady, Daphne created this amazing camp themed cake and these adorable bear shaped cake pops. Not only were they perfectly made, our guests of all ages also really enjoyed them!S’MORE FUN
A camping party wouldn’t be completed without s’mores! I prepared this easy kid’s s’more spread with this darling brown bear platter for the kids to make their own s’mores. They had so much fun next to the campfire!
I’m so glad that we were able to make these sweet memories with our friends and family for my little camper. I hope you enjoy these ideas and don’t forget to check out our Camping Collection for your next celebration. Until next time!
