Wackadoo! A Bluey-Themed Birthday Party Full of Fun
My little girl Zoe is absolutely obsessed with Bluey, so for her 3rd birthday, I knew a Bluey-themed birthday party was the perfect way to celebrate! If your little one loves Bluey, a birthday inspired by everyone’s favorite Blue Heeler pup is sure to be a hit. For Zoe’s special day, we styled a playful and colorful Bluey birthday celebration filled with pastel Bluey birthday party decorations, fun balloons, cozy seating, and the cutest Bluey birthday cake and desserts. Whether you’re planning a backyard bash or an indoor setup, these Bluey birthday party ideas and Bluey party activities by Momo Party are sure to inspire your own memorable celebration!
Party Backdrop & Bluey Balloons
As always, we celebrated Zoe’s birthday right in our backyard, which has become our favorite spot for special memories. This year, we went with the sweetest Bluey-themed setup that instantly brought the party to life. The backdrop featured a pastel checkerboard paired with Bluey-inspired shades of soft blue. To make it extra special, I added a sign that read “Wackadoo! Zoe is 3” along with a pastel balloon garland in peach, blue, and pink, sprinkled with little daisy balloons for a touch of whimsy.Balloons are a must for any kid’s birthday party, and this Bluey celebration made them extra special! An oversized Jumbo Bluey AirWalker balloon created the cutest photo area, and the kids couldn’t stop smiling next to it. On the side, a Bingo-shaped foil balloon tucked into the garland added even more character charm. And of course, the giant Bluey number “3” balloon featuring all the characters was the perfect finishing touch for those milestone birthday photos.
Bluey Inspired Table Setting
For the little guests, we set up a low kids’ table with soft pastel floor pillows, making it extra cozy and perfectly sized for little ones. For a Bluey-inspired table setting, a blue and white striped table runner added a playful pop, while modern striped plates in pastel blue and peach paired with Bluey napkins brought the theme to life in the sweetest way. The flower-shaped cups with straws weren’t just adorable—they were the perfect mix of fun and functional. For the centerpiece, I kept things simple with a floral bouquet and a couple of Bluey and Bingo stuffy friends for a playful touch. To make it even more fun, I included Bluey birthday party favors like this Bluey headbands at each place setting so the kids could enjoy a little dress-up time during the party!Bluey Cake and Desserts
For the dessert table, we had the best time putting together a Bluey birthday cake and sweets that were just as fun and colorful as the show itself! The star of the party was this stunning two-toned Bluey & Bingo cake, with adorable ears that had all the kids grinning from ear to ear. Cupcakes topped with swirls of pastel frosting and topped with little Bluey and friends figurines. Last but not least, the daisy-shaped macarons in soft pinks and blues were the sweetest little touch—both pretty and delicious. Paired with the striped treat boxes and fresh flowers, the whole setup felt playful, cheerful, and perfectly “Zoe at 3”!Bluey Fun and Activities
At Zoe’s 3rd birthday, the kids were treated to so much Bluey birthday activities! We dressed up our big trampoline with a cheerful pastel balloon garland that made the play area feel extra festive and perfect for bouncing. The arts and crafts station was a huge hit—wrapping the table in kraft paper not only made cleanup easy but also gave kids an extra canvas to draw and color. With markers, stickers, and Bluey-themed crafts, the little guests had endless ways to get creative, making their own colorful Bluey and Bingo masterpieces to take home.
And of course, the biggest highlight was when Bluey herself made a surprise visit—dancing, giving hugs, and playing “Keepy Uppy” with the red balloon I had ready, just like in the show. It was such a playful, joy-filled celebration that truly brought Bluey’s world to life for Zoe and her friends!
Cute Bluey Party Favors
The Bluey birthday party favors were almost as fun as the party itself! We styled a cute white cart filled with colorful Bluey-themed goodies, including mini Bluey and Bingo stuffies, bright red balloons for more “Keepy Uppy” fun, and these adorable mini Bluey- and Bingo-shaped foil balloons. The cart was not only a cheerful display but also an interactive part of the celebration—kids loved picking out their favorite treats and toys to take home, making it a memorable keepsake from Zoe’s special day.
From the pastel color palette to the creative crafts, every detail of Zoe’s Bluey birthday party captured the playful spirit of the show. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and memories that will last long beyond her third birthday.
